Ordered: (1) Crispy Golden Prawn Pancake, (2) Hot and Sour soup, (3) Shrimp and Pork Wanton Served in Superior Chicken Broth, (4) Special Braised Beef Noodle Soup with Beef Brisket, (5) Vermicelli Soup with Deep-fried Beancurd and Minced Meat Roll, (6) Steamed Pork Dumplings aka XIAO LONG BAO!!!
Price: ☺ wonderful!!! ahha for these 6 dishes n they charged $1 for the tea i think, total only $46.60 minus GST!! but have to take into account that like for some soups and the xiaolongbao we ordered the smallest servings only but for 3 ppl, that amt is definitely worth it. u get to taste so many dishes and each person need to pay like less than $20 even aft GST ($54.85 btw)
Food: quite filling + nice to eat too...mebe the nice to eat part is cuz we're hungry but then agn ur tastebuds are not that well programmed to lie so well ITS AWESOME!!! haah also also! it might be nice due to us lik choosing chef recommendations, healthier choices n stuff haha
Service: quite ok i guess since tea refilling quite efficient and the staff dun have black faces haha they got smile when walk past our table n meet eyes. n the cashier is nice haha gave us a copy of the ordering form when i asked for the used copy for our table ahha well she cld have refused in the worst case so yeap..
Ambience: er its not themed rite...just typical chinese restaurant lor...

Ordered: rice, shark fin soup with crab meat (REAL crab meat hor not crabstick..but yea accordingly, its ex of cuz), mapo tofu and cereal prawn
Price: EX NIA T.T lik almost $90 for 3ppl!!! will siao diao man...argh
Food: mapo tofu not much spicy kick, for mi at least ahha. the shark fin soup was nice, i lik any sticky soup haha lik all those hot n sour soup la, lu mian soup la...nice nice haha n the crabmeat oso nice!! its in chunks! the shark fin was also sorta in chunks that was all ladled (is there such a word?) by my mum for my dad so only got a few pieces. but i guess i lik my shark fin being scattered into little strips rather than a whole chunk. got to try those whole chunk kind ytd nite at yy's sister's wedding. abit fishy smell, dun like. cereal prawn quite sweet. abit too sweet...
Service: er normal normal lor? haha i duno good service only REALLY BAD service ahha basic de smiles n stuff shld be there can liaoz...
Ambience: haha nice setting but the going in through that small walkway for the JP outlet is abit waste of space =.= but yea disappointed dun have that kungfu way of pouring tea ahah im dreaming...

Ordered: rice, Drunken Chicken (the special price dish on that day), hot and sour soup, xiaolongbao plus some er longxia in some broth thingy, mapo tofu, chilli prawn, chrysanthemum tea
Price: =.= it was okok except for that stupid xiaolongbao thing. it was lik $12.80...pls refer to the pic below, the dishes were named acc to the order of the pics. damn small bowl can. TWO lil puny xiao long baos..n ok la one chunk of eh lobster but the chilli prawns quite hua, lik ard 7-9 prawns i think, n it costs $22 so considered ok ba? we ordered too much seriously thats why lik $71.10 b4 GST n aft GST n serv charge its $83.68...plus hor they charge for the tea is like erps 1.80 per pax siao...though they keep refilling, but pls, how much can u drink? n the towels...kanasai we din use 2 of them but they charge still...oh n got snack at the starting those appetizer. its not free, dun be cheated. btw, we werent cheated. i knew b4 i went cuz i went to search for reviews on this restaurant. its ok wad actually fish skin liddat. no fishy smell. fried one of cuz. n only $3.80.
Food: mapo tofu is erm sweet...zzz wth rite..n e chilli prawn tastes lik those sweet n spicy kinda chilli sauce. seriously...but the mantou was nice haha. fried sia. but fattening. hot n sour soup not as nice as din tai fung's mebe portion wise n bosses' spoon hor alamak its like damn fat that i carn scoop up the last bits of soup liddat. the drunken chicken thingy was not bad. the chicken got taste de wor n very tender n not so fatty. the tea...haiz..they refill hor its just really pour hot water. dun bother to squeeze the dried chrysanthemums abit(yea they really use the real stuff) so the tea only smells nice at first. ltr then got the taste n color come out =.=
Service: one waiter kanasai face so black. plus the black interiors. emo cheena guy sia. some waitresses still ok ba, i carn see that clearly in the dark anw...
Ambience: ok black all the way. WAY WAY CREEPY and the layout of the vivo branch is lik ALOT of space but its all hidden inside so when the waitress was leading us inside, totally felt lik empty until we saw around the bar there got the seats with all the scenery, no wonder push everyone inside...but hor the lighting tsk tsk i carn even see the menu properly...not useful, really

thoughts

someone randomly told me something today that really did jolt me quite a bit. "Don't think too much" its so true i realise.
thinking about how to improve things does help but people have varying degrees of resistance to change.
thinking about how ppl feel is very sweet n nice of u, ppl. but its not worth it if ure beating urself up aft thinking how u might have offended anyone and everyone.
thinking about how the past turned out and how u cld have changed it all for the better doesnt help when u carn change it.
thinking about how the future wld turn out doesnt help cuz the present is what affects the future n u wld do better focusing on that.
thinking too much means reading too much into things when it might or might not be complicated. better to keep things simple even if they arent. at least ure ignorant n blissful.

i like playing freecell cuz it makes the impossible become possible. when u think ure abt to die, ure revived =D

#10 i finally rmbed! this is an impt life skill that is as useless as it is useful. =.= it does wonders w/o technology and if done properly will be very aesthetically appealing. yea makeup haha but i think accessories do it just as well. i love my specs for that =D n this is quite another IMPOSSIBLE but oh well, dream big =D

수학 - haiz terrible. n somemore some part qn de part part qn(shld be worth lik wad? 1/2 marks?) i din see n i noe how to do de...n with a paper this difficult, expecting those few marks can help alot...hope moderation comes into play and hope not too many ppl took it the prev sem so that got more ppl then mebe will be better?

별 ☆ - this one is more okay de...its an example of an interesting but useless module. at least in daily life la. but mebe astrophysicist will be useful haha rmb the tcher asking mi if i wan to be astrophysicist or wad cuz i ask too much qns =.= ok i stupid ask more cannot ah...

전 - this is the worst of the bunch of hard papers this sem. T.T really die...1st two qns killer. then the last two walau eh relatively more ok...n i din finish the last part which is worth 10marks. hope got some pathetic method marks n pity marks *prays* n i saw some pattern at the last min when the paper was handed in. mebe if i wrote a sentence, i cld have gotten lik mebe 1more mark for that qn? n the front qns its like weird ans but got ans but come out go tally with others then wth totally wrong. nice...can only hope it was careless so mebe got method marks...they better give. if not i alot wrong then total 25 marks all gone liddat for each will die very cham. aiming at least higher than a C please. hope got moderation agn...duno the rest do how. 自讨苦吃...haiz...FTs are the ones taking with mi so how do u think moderation will go? =.=

한국어 - relatively easy. so only worry is everyone do well then really lik how the rumors go, got one wrong n DIE. hope not. cuz haiz...yy n mi both got memorise dao the seasons n yea it came out. 산소, 생활 - haha PYP helped!!! n it was so last minute omg...heng i went to check forum last min ahhaha feel blessed. n very glad with kary mullis n his erm scuba diving suit which was half worn showing his torso. becuz of that i took a second glance n it sorta got into my memory that he was awarded nobel chemistry de. so when qn say physiology or medicine felt weird ^^ n the two answers that i last min changed. pls tell mi correct...if not really BANG! ahha "after school"'s song~~

yeap as the title says. astro n bio is over~ whee but duno how i did so...abit uneasy too. n somemore bio wun noe grades. astro will noe, but acc to email sent to us, might not be by this weekend which is lik deadline for SU option, so most prob lotsa ppl are freaking out haha n damn farnie the tcher email to say that tomorrow(friday, or rather today since its like 1:54am at point of typing this word) is a holiday for them so may not be able to upload scores or sth XD

damn late i know but cuz of my dearest astro n bio, i stayed up later than this time these days (only ytd was nicer slp. 1.30am liddat slp n wake up at 8.45am today =D bliss ♥) but anw even if i try, dun think i can fall aslp that easily at night le. cuz of the broken down body clock of mine n oso cuz aft CAs i start to use back my com le n so the glaring lights n radiation n whatnot is affecting me.

next wave of CAs next week T.T so soon. n korean presentation. hope i dun screw up. ppl ask mi to perform!!! im so willing to do it for my grades haha

on a sidenote, to sorta celebrate my CAs finishing, i read percy jackson e last book (the last olympian) while eating dinner frm 8pm to 9.30pm amazing how long i slowly munch while reading. btw, its ebook, courtesy of jo =D which i think i mentioned in prev post b4...

anw, yea while reading duno why but that feeling of ji pi ge da/goosebumps came back. starting frm lik hmm i think it was in book 2, ive been having that feeling le. means for book 2, 4, 5 i felt that way haha. started frm percy calling tyson his brother wholeheartedly in that second book bah. third book i read a few mths ago n it was the first book to introduce mi to this greek mythological world so i din really feel attached yet haha. the similarities betwn this series n HP series is as i said quite obvious. but at the same time they exude different feel. perhaps u can say that JK rowlings books grows up with her audience who supported her from the start. while rick riordans is like it sorta doesnt grow old but neither issit childish too. its just humorous. even at parts where its supposed to be dead serious. u get a glimpse into percys mind n start thinking WTH.

as for like narnia, i rmb issit ceci who said that its childish? cuz of the phrasing n stuff. i guess so ahah abit but its not really childish as long as u dun take it to heart as though the book is really addressing u, more like addressing its younger audience IMO. n this books intended audience really seems to be the under 12 age grp. cuz even in the book itself, it hints that older audiences who have grown up n do not know how to believe in fantasy imagination will not know how to appreciate this series. its a subtle hint, with the older siblings not being able to go back into narnia because they have changed (matured wadeva) n started to think that all those stuff years back was just a dream or figment of their imagination.

if thats the case with the real world too. seriously i do not wan to grow up. i nvr have. cuz the grown up world is so filled with hatred n jealousy n revenge n all that BS. while ure young, n i mean like before u even start pri sch. life was much simpler. it was basically eat, go sch, bathe, eat, sleep. with lotsa entertainment thrown in. but then again, as u mature, u learn more abt life n u learn how to appreciate things. at least for mi its like that. if i nvr grew up, i most prob wld have taken those kindergarten days for granted n dun think they're all that wonderful as i think now.
