exams r over!!!

for quite long le actually...but i feel so empty haiz...has always felt empty aft exams since entering uni but then this sem is lik e worse cuz first of all, there isnt any work for mi to keep myself busy with n by work i mean lik the paying work + e hols r longer n i dread it even more arghz how m i to survive two more years so sian already...n sometimes while studying i start to think lik why e hell m i studying? as in like both studying n oso studying of this particular course, doesnt seem to interest mi much. but at times when i do well/understd/kai qiao on a topic all of a sudden, will have tt adrenaline rush n think tt wow i actl like it =-= so wad is this man...just aimlessly floating ard liddat

nw, yet agn, i feel like coming up with a list of to-do things, however, i did exactly tt last year, to no avail. i did lik NOTHING on tt list. so im thinking might as well bring the list to this year agn haha n see myself fail terribly =-= but...i have no reason to NOT do any of this stuff this yr, cuz im not working so i shldnt be THAT busy. but its alwaes hard to start. n once u start n gain the momentum u dun wanna stop. its lik aft exams then u start thinking tt shit i SOOOO wanna study, gives mi satisfaction haha but too late. n this time its worse cuz i did lik 6 papers in 7 days, no rest T.T n so even when my momentum starts kicking in haha too late le, exams ending already...

this sem...
is boring
is unmotivating (is there such a word?)
is stressful (for no reason or rather no good reason, ie stress i bring upon myself, which im starting to realise i do v v often)
is busy (yet agn, perhaps for all e wrong reasons)
is screwed (i dun rly wanna noe my results)

hopefully, i get a wakeup call, but not such a rude one. a slight one will do.

unforgettable dramas/movies

YAY!!! haha im so freaking happy that I finally managed to track down another one of those dramas/movies that I've seen a while back but din note down their title etc but the dramas/movies were so nice/memorable that the scenes/faces are still etched in my mind.

And the drama is no other than Heaven's coin 3!!! or 新・星の金貨, Shin Hoshi no Kinka. OMG i watched this drama on channel 8 i tink when i was still in sec sch n LX was still in singapore haha cuz i rmb discussing abt this drama with her...ohmien rmb the days...
anw recently watching taiyou no uta, abt some girl with disease called XP, cannot come into contact with the sun...lik vampire haha. then somehow link here n there n i searched more rigorously this time haha actl not really rigorously but i think either google's database expanded or i bothered to check through more links haha cuz i think i only searched for "mute japanese drama" something liddat, cuz i rmb the girl was mute...then i found heaven's coin 1, 2 blah link to 3...even the poster looks damn old =-= from so long ago man, longer than when i saw it on TV haha cuz it was in 2001 acc to mediawiki, while i watched it in approx 2004 ba...i rmb the lead looks ugly hahaha i mean the guy, altho the 2nd lead is hotter ahhaa but in the poster his face is =-= dark carn see a thing...when i saw death note i found the lead familiar to Light, but then i rmb last time i check lik cldnt find any drama he act in that had a mute girl in it. so i assumed all this time that they were just similar looking peeps...when actl they really are the same person OMG ahha

last time i was searching for a korean movie too, which i found out hmm a few months back i think, was a moment to remember or 내 머리 속의 지우개

this one is another elusive one. i rmb watching on channel U n the lead guy was shuai haha din rly search for this movie/guy but one day on allkpop i chanced upon Jo In Sung who looked quite like him too imo haha then i went research thinking it was the lead guy but cldnt find the title of that movie cuz i was obvs barking up the wrong tree...then with personal preference, i came across Son Yejin, the lead actress in that movie haha whom i previously ignored hahah then i went to search n found my Jung Woo Sung ahha who happens to be older than jo in sung T.T but still as shuai hahaha

and finally, another language de movie ahah english movie!! this one i din really try to find it cuz no recollection but i knew that ive seen it b4 when i saw snippets of it on entertainment tonight or duno some other entertainment show imported by channel 5. then i realise that the guy acting inside that movie was johnny depp my idol @.@ haha the movie is none other than Edward Scissorhands!!! =D

n i watched that ard the time that i first arrived in singapore n cld start watching TV so shld be ard 1995 on channel 5? haha only rmb snippets of it, remb being freaked out a bit by that guy (depp), dun think i watched the whole thing/understood more than 30% of it either...

actually still got one more movie that still bugs mi until now T.T i rmb watching it on channel 5 too. it was lik some children walking into a museum like place then got a centre portion its lik full of paintings around on the wall high up then end up somehow they got sucked into a painting or sth, that was the most memorable part of the movie for mi...english de...so sad omg i rmb its quite fantastical, my type haha haiz but until nw duno leh...haven really tried googling cuz the time that it was shown was still not really using internet period i think...help its killing me ahaha

Yeap, like what the title of this post says, why keep things white all the time? Girls should dare to bring more color into that aspect of their life! That was the message I got from attending this exclusive event held by Kotex at Heaven’s Loft, high up in Orchard Central. Totally awesome event sia =D Thanks to omy.sg of course for giving me the chance to attend such an event. It really is a first for me. And for better or worse, the initial plan to allow us to bring a friend was changed and we were informed that we can only bring that friend if that friend is a fellow omy blogger haiz…BUT oh well I got to know new friends through this event. woots sia! it doesn’t matter that much in the end haha I go home happie can liaoz~

I was abit lost at first all alone T.T then I saw the cupcake booth GAHHHH haha so sinful but looks damn nice la…we cld decorate n either eat it or bring back home. I brought back home, haiz regret that I din ask whether its limited to 1 per pax. Wanted to bring more of those cute things home + ownself deco some more lehs! and then there were a lot of food…*drools*

A while later they started showing us a video of how one part of us has always remained white despite the changes in fashion direction thru all these years n I start to wonder if kotex is seriously coming up with colored pads XD n well I almost got it. The new product that they’re promoting is patterned pads! Lik seriously with color…but from the lookbooks that they placed ard the room for us to look at, the color isn’t that dark that it would stain your private parts or whatever but its sorta new I guess ahha..im still not quite sure how to react to this innovation O.o but I can safely say that yea when they first announced that n showed us some designs I was really going “wow” ahha like really “wow…how are they going to pull it off?” kinda curious tone so haha marketing team damn zai, totally apt de use of word to promote. PLUS, there was some additional contest thing of which the first prize is an iPad. omg get the joke? Pads and iPads XD another good use of words eh hahaah I nvr tot of the ipad in this way man…

After more eating n mingling around, taking pictures at the instant photo booth, looking at the pad lookbooks, they asked us to do an activity in our groups, determined by the color of the petals of the name-pin-thingy they gave us to put on. There were 6 grps using totally different materials to decorate a cardboard each and in the end, they pieced the cardboards together to form a larger sign that says WOW. Haha my grp got those paper flowers to stick on =D some other grp got sweets that one was bizarre ahha and another grp had a great idea to put up their pins on the board as well, so creative! The nicest thing was that the completed piece was so colourful n each board was different yet somehow went together I guess haha. Sad thing was that there weren’t much talking n stuff amongst the team members mebe bcuz well we don’t know each other + we were only given 20minutes to complete the task. N the saddest thing was that, they eventually placed the cardboards into those plastic bags that look lik they are going to be thrown away T.T I hope not…

ohya oso got ben n jerry’s icecream! I tried lemon sorbet towards the end while waiting for our instant photos to be printed n omg was it sour…XS shld have stuck to chunky monkey T.T

oh n im not a stalker, i din take an instant photo that wasnt mine...haha silver is her name i tink, she was in some channel U superstar singing contest if im not wrong haha her smile as sweet as last time =D

one grp had buttons as deco materials for the boards activity…n they left after making this nice pattern =D

my takeaways in the goodie bag they gave at the end of the event: pads, tampons, the new WOW pads, notebook, WOW lookbook that was on display at the event, discount vouchers for kotex, brochures of the sponsor for the cupcakes, a WOW mug that changes to show the WOW patterns when in higher temperatures (mine happened to be black despite the white color mug that is shown on the box)
