Hayden Panettiere from Heroes is in it. n the director is Chris Columbus. adapted from a novel. shown in SG on 3 sept. preview was on 1 sept. n as seen frm the pic below, it was shown elsewhere since July 10 =.= slow SG

this was the most sian-est thing i won. cuz i had to watch it alone~ everyone has classes or lazy to come out or blah blah blah...=.= SAD T^T n who's to blame?! FOX! oi i love ur prizes but next time can u send the emails EARLIER? they sent it on the day itself. if i nvr check my email that day (like that saddening case for ACUVUE when i was the first 50 or sth to send email n could go to MOVIE MARATHON n i din check email. i just stopped checking my mail for that ONE DAY. gosh.), then gone case, wasted. at least now i got to watch it, albeit alone. T^T

ok aft watching this, then that same week got a contest by the new paper about writing movie review to win OST or sth i forgot. so just nice this was one of the movies that they say we can review, so i wrote in lor. then they sent mi back an email asking for my full name, then i gave them and asked if i won or wad. waliew just tell mi that they will inform mi if i win + something else abt checking FIRST tmr. i tot they referring to the magazine called FIRST or wad. or i just interpret it wrongly. yea so since i already wrote a review, shall just paste here.

Overall, “I love you, Beth Cooper” is quite funny but its plot is clichéd, having the popular hot girl eventually falling in love with the goofy class nerd who has been having an enormous crush on her. Personally, I’m quite impressed with Hayden Panettiere’s acting, especially one scene where she looks around the auditorium regretfully and tears just start to well up in her eyes as the camera zooms on to her in classic slow-motion. Being an NC-16 rated movie, it has quite a few scenes that have a sexual direction, but it was quite well-balanced because the scenes with sexual innuendos mostly brought about laughs (after all, it IS a comedy) rather than making heads turn away. The only scene that is considered a bit crude to me was the almost-nudity displayed by Hayden Panettiere in the showers as she flashed to Denis Cooverman, given that she has barely grown out of her teenage years. Also, although her acting makes the mark, I think she shouldn’t act as the popular girl who turns out to be a slut, because somehow sluts give me a vision of tall, lanky, dumb blondes with thick makeup and she doesn’t fit the role. Actually, the movie is worth a try after a long day’s work to give you your daily dose of laughter but otherwise, it doesn’t particularly stand out either, both in its plot and the funny scenes.

n found their ages!!! as expected, not so young like koreans. but anw they not going idol lu xian. they are like ard 1982 that yr de. 3 of them. Shunsuke is like youngest 1984 which means 25 this yr~ KAZZ oldest. 1972 nia. thats like >=10 yrs diff frm the other grp members O.o

ok one look at the title shld noe, must be fangirling agn wahahahahaha this time is decent though. its really GUYS.

intro them first: an acapella group from Japan, got 5 members, one damn pro at making the distortion guitar noise woots! damn rock la. n as expected frm acapella, the voice all very wen3 steady and stable, so very smooth. heard them todae at school lunchtime performance. wakao nice lor! i loved sukiyaki! din realise it was that song at first although they said the name my ears too much earwax carn hear properly. only realised aft they start singing. recorded but not HQ wahhh T^T. not as crazy over 풍선 though mebe cuz first i dun really love that song though very cute and can get a bit high that kind, somehow DBSK dun go with cute. as a group. but give mi more junsu~ =P

ohmien paiseh cldnt find them on wiki, turn up weird results like "fish album" so wad i typed is the only info u will have of them == ok omg tried le can upload photos le!!! yay ok gonna update all the previous posts too. will have pikmin le~ haha PIC!!!

Costuming
Welcome to the costumes section. It is divided into three sections. All of the Costumes were all made by me the props were built by me with help from my father.

I model/perform as both Male and Female characters and pull them off very convincingly.

I have been cosplaying since 1998 but haven't attended any sort of events until mid 2003. I started doing costume character modeling in 2006 for many gaming related events, and I have done professional character modeling for gaming related companies.

My most popular and personal favorite costumes are of Link from the Legend of Zelda Series.

What I had to do: answer simple question and luck

the movie is NC 16 and in FRENCH. which i obvs din understd, but the subtitles were GREAT, compared to those for Defiance, so i had no trouble understding at all. think its NC 16 becuz of all the sexual kinda scenes and booze and cigars going on there. n no its not very explicit or wad.

basically, i dun like the movie.

its confusing for one. i tot it was abt how Coco Chanel came to be. indeed, it was. there was a "main" plot abt how she had a unique sense of style and thinking since the beginning. but the side plots made it confusing. n derogatory for Coco Chanel.
It started with her shown to be orphaned/abandoned along with her sister by her dad long ago and they grew up singing at bars for a living. the singing at bars part dun misunderstd. its a different era and the bars are dirty with prostitutes running ard too. so its not like those aspiring singers trying out their new songs on an audience kinda thing. instead, it was a bit like cha-cha. i duno, the feel of the song. anyway the song is abt some doggy that they lost, did anyone see it or blah, it sounded like those childish songs "old macdonald had a farm" that kind. and the dog's name was Coco =.= ok now Coco Chanel's real name was Gabrielle then she somehow started using Coco.
then she got to noe some merchant who said cld intro her to some ppl so that she can actually sing and dance on an actual stage. i tot she was those 女强人 but somehow along the way, she had sex or sth with that man while rehearsing for that interview to perform on stage. like WTH?! so u wld do anything to get ur way? at least thats the msg that i got. n so disappointed cuz i tot she wld be more independent and strong.
ok then her sis got married to rich guy, she left alone liaoz. she ran to the merchant's hse in paris or smewhere. then live there as his mistress and cldnt really go out with him in public blah. then she oso started to make hats, which quite alot of women took interest in eventually.
she oso met some guy called "boy" erm thats his nickname. n he spoke some english thank god. refreshing to hear aft more than an hour of french. she found true love. but eventually the guy died. aww...pathetic. in this period of time, she was like "borrowed" by the merchant to this "boy" guy. its demeaning to women k not like how it was supposed to portray Coco as different frm other women frm her era - indep and all. like the guy knew that she is a mistress and "belongs" to the merchant. but being best frens the merchant oso like okok with it. but thru the movie, i got the feeling that the merchant started to develop fatherly feelings for her. cuz "boy" was like really in love with Coco Chanel but he had a fiancee back in England.then the merchant din wan Coco to get hurt aft finding out then he oso got offer to marry her so that she can sorta have status and be legal. =.= wads the use she doesnt even like u.
ok then the movie oso ended abruptly like Coco was seen dressed in black and white sitting on a flight of stairs as models pass her by. it was a fashion show la but i was wondering whether Coco had been hidden frm view frm the audience or she really is blatantly sitting down there looking at her pieces of art...=.= then aft the show ended she stood up and like bask in glory. then ended. WTH.

my school days are sooooo interesting~

haha as the title says, yes they are. =D really. serious. dun believe?! ok see ah...

i see interesting things everyday...some more interesting than others. once, on my way to sch at the pioneer shuttle bus stop, saw a couple coming to the busstop to take shuttle as well. the guy was holding onto a tote while carrying his own backpack. obvs that tote was the girl's since she was only carrying a file. the girl walk in front of the guy n at one pt, she went too close to the side of the road or sth that the guy went forward to pull her back out of pure kindness and love, she like give the "waliew, u just made mi pissed" face, shook her arm off his grip n then stood a lil further away frm the guy. poor guy just stood there duno wad to say or do. bus came, she went up on her own w/o looking back (like excuse mi, can at least see if ur BAG will come up the bus with u?) while the guy had to quickly follow her and SQUEEZE up the bus as unluckily for him, the bus door wasnt opened in front of him, unlike the girl. lost sight of them aft that but the guy did manage to get on, heng...if not ltr she realise her bag not on board with her then will kill the guy at the next opportunity =.=

i hear interesting things everyday too! =D just todae, at that fateful same busstop, a 179 or 241 i think (shld be 179 la) arrived to let passengers alight. suddenly, i heard "stupid Singapore education system" O.O stunned can. then realised that the sound coming frm upstairs. the second storey of the double deck bus. middle-aged uncle was looking outta window and yelling =.= our eyes met. quickly look away (cause scared kena target) then start to look ard to see if anyone else heard him or i was hallucinating. no one made great reaction leh, mebe he's a regular. the guy continued "wad NUS, NTU, SIM, SMU? *pause* u singapore undergrads are........*couldnt hear a single word aft that cuz the bus drove off*" poor uncle, must have much that he have kept inside of him n cldnt release steam at the speakers corner =.= weird thing is, if that bus was 179 as i rmbed. then he came frm NTU direction =.= dun tell mi he went to yell all that at every stop =.=

NICE!!! Din expect such a good storyline though they were advertising say wad its directors of 4bia, shutter, alone come tgt or sth, I only noe its based on “cinemas” de theme.
Anw, synopsis cuz its too good =D I try to recall as much as I can but some details may be wrong, but gist is def still there: some guy tries to pirate the movie by playing the horror movie (yes it’s a horror movie within a horror movie) and recording it (he’s some cinema operator working inside so can do that, HQ pirated movie somemore! haha) but he went missing aft the movie n his fren Shane who is the lead looked thru the camcorder to see the fren just screaming and trying to “slide” away on the floor. Then aft that he was rushed by the pirates who wan the copy so he tried to record it himself n then he saw his fren inside the movie like really inside, among one of the dead ppl in the movie, with his eyes bleeding, presumably dug out. He and his ex-gf-but-complicated-relationship start to research and find out what the hell is happening then they start realizing that the movie was based on a true story and that the members of the production team are dying one by one too as they start to find them to ask abt origins of the story. Anw, the first guy who died was the ex gf’s bro if im not wrong, that’s why she went investigating with her ex bf. Wah so CSI haha investigate…halfway thru the movie the characters start realizing that the person who they tot was a ghost is actually still alive (she was a crazy woman who went abducting kids cuz she lost her own n then she dug out their eyes n stuff) and therefore cannot be a ghost + the movie sorta depicted the woman dying part differently frm the true story. N soon after the search for the REAL ghost begins again + to find out exactly what happened n yea its quite unexpected who the actual ghost is. N of cuz the ghost is actually quite poor thing oso, she totally died a WTH death. Guess who?
It’s the actress who acted as the crazy woman cuz in one scene where the villagers rounded her up in her hse and tried to beat her and then hang her, the actress kept NG-ing n the director damn pissed with her cuz she looked like she was “dancing” instead of dying, n at the “final” shot, her supporting wire snapped and she really got hung to death, n the stoopid director was still yelling “good good”, not realizing that she really died =.= so her ghost tot the whole production team is responsible and must die, which they did, n ended up in the movie like the Shane’s fren. Hmm I actually forgot how the ghost killed them, like drag them in or wad I dun rmb le or they din show the specifics I think. Only rmbed that for Shane when he finally died, he was at first repeating the same kinda scenes over and over agn where he’ll get rid of Shaba (the real crazy woman’s name) but when he escapes he ends up at the same place de feeling =.= that part was hilarious.

Ok that was damn long synopsis ahah wah now the movie feels like its 2hrs or more long, but actually only ard 1.5 hrs. ok besides the plot and the suspense damn well thought of, the whole flow of movie is good too, wun be luan4 which is the movie ure watching and which is the movie within the movie. The starting they start off with the movie within the movie to give backgrd info liddat then slowly branch back to the real world. N the movie as most thai horror I guess really can make the cut of real horror, not just sound effects or like suddenly something pop up, though that is still present just not so repeatedly used. N some “scary” parts are actually farnie for mi haha cuz when u think abt it its not that scary haha like at the end the movie was released and damn lotsa ppl went to catch it in the theatres (which is a bad thing cuz it’s a bit like the ring, when u watch le u will die, cuz u sorta wanted the woman to die liddat, like its for ur enjoyment) then inside the movie theatre, they reach the hanging scene once more n then they zoom into the woman’s face. Then she stopped struggling die liao la, then suddenly, OMG her head bobs back up and shouts “Do you really wan to see mi die?!” which like stunned all of us in the cinema cuz we’re oso like the audience in the movie, waiting to see her die =.= but aft I stun a while, started feeling wakao damn farnie. duno why =.= ahha the scriptwriters and directors did a great job man…
