ok mooncake!!! haha they gave two notepad like thingy along with the voucher inside a very very nice smooth envelope. ahha stoopid la J8 is like not exactly damn big like JP but its damn hard to navigate. its shops have like two entrances/exits on opposite ends and stuff liddat so i had a hard time finding that coffee bean/starbucks. in the end asked the info counter =.=

these were the flavours that i chose initially. sticky chewy chocolate. durian supreme. both dun have. high dd. so must be nice~ so i had to settle for others. haiz...n hor the redemption must be made on the day itself so i wan to reserve or go elsewhere to redeem oso cannot.

first up, kiwi raspberry. it was weird. no kiwi taste at all, just the outer skin is green thats all. oh, and got small kiwi seeds inside the raspberry icecream. overall quite ok. just the skin color and the inner icecream color not pei4.

Mangosteen. ok sounds weird rite. i totally forgot wad a mangosteen tastes like so couldnt really tell if its really like mangosteen. taste quite nice too but its an undescribable taste like uve tasted it b4 liddat. the color quite ok haha only the skin makes mi think its mangosteen =.= note swensen's chinese characters in the 3rd pic here.

Hazelnut Latte. Hmm first cuz its latte. its coffee taste which i okok with only. n then got no hazelnut de taste i think i rmb. eat so long le haha memories vague le. but it was quite normal liddat. no xing xian gan.

strawberry peachy mango yoghurt. haha the longest name. n i was abit hesitant like erm might taste weird. so many things liddat. but actually it was the best among these 4 flavours. at least to me. hmm when it melts in ur mouth, u sorta taste abit of everything. though i carn rly differentiate betwn peach and mango =.= ok anw overall, wan to eat icecream then eat icecream. dun go for icecream mooncake. mebe the traditional mooncake is still the most suitable one. i like snowskin though its not exactly traditional? but so much calories its scary can...

the cool 3D glasses. in aussie watch 3D their glasses is those not so pro one. plastic but not the red and blue one. its just black. n with white frame. this one in singapore, or rather SHAW is like hard n heavy n hearing frm my frens who got catch avatar in 3D they said the glasses was heavy too, so im assuming that its the same type.

of which pictures ill post soon + review of the taste haha :P but to comprain abit first haiyo. had to go down to junction 8, which is at bishan, meaning NOT SO NEAR MY HOUSE, to collect the vouchers frm a guy waiting at coffee bean or starbucks i forgot which, then had to go to swensens to collect the mooncake. act can choose where de swensen to collect bah but that guy told mi wad have to take frm junction 8 de. like excuse me. i tried explaining i live far and all that but i think he cannot hear anything in =.= so in the end to play safe i just took frm J8. supposedly can choose flavour too. i chose durian out of stock and some other chewy choco i think oso outta stock. so some of the flavours are not in my top choices. more on that in later post.

was nice!!! the trailer totally doesnt do it justice, not that ive seen the trailer many times b4. the prev times i saw it, like in cinemas n once or twice on tv recently, gave mi the feeling like the movie din even contain real humans. somehow the scenes with humans were quite menghuan liddat those foggy feel. then tot it was animation all the way. but well apparently its not. n now it sets mi wondering wads with the 10 yrs thing. i know they said that james cameron had to wait for technology to catch with his ideas and stuff but hor if it contains humans. im wondering when they filmed it. if it was in parts or wad. cuz those ppl haven exactly aged in the movie. n then i think shit how long ago was titanic? issit more than 10 yrs liaoz. correct rite. came out when we were pri 1? thats like 12 yrs. hmm...

anw yea it was nice not cuz of the animations in my POV. rather, its cuz like the story is fresh, its a whole new world. n the human race are the antagonists here. so its a new perspective in many ways. but then ltr i think mrs strife (?) mentioned that it was abit like matrix. like yea hor. abit similar, in the sense the humans can enter another dimension, n discard their "real" bodies. din notice. budden since this started out 10 yrs ago, matrix copied it? though duno how. leakage of info?

it was 2.5hrs long. but totally din feel so long. acc to my colleague, it was like too draggy at the front but at the end he din wan it to end. for mi, it wasnt abit draggy at all. i even wanted to like replay the front abit. cuz i sorta lost concentration abit n din catch some of their conversation, so abit confused at first. the beginning is essential to understanding all the qns that we will have so its understandable that its abit long. 2.5 hrs is really necessary to explain a whole new concept and make the story enriching and exciting with its climax.

omg just went to research abt avatar. haha yea the director said if avatar is successful, there's two sequels omg! but the way they ended the story. how to continue? hmm i wan to see the babies of the Na'Vi leads. in the whole movie, i think i only saw one baby, when the army started attacking and they started running away. so since this is less developed in this first part, mebe james cameron will aim to expand on that? then mebe the third installment will be about when Pandora (the planet the blue creatures are on) faces the same situation as Earth and they become the agressors O.o wah this is confusing. then another planet will have to pop up n then they definitely will not end at 3rd movie. it will really becum draggy then.

though i dun exactly celebrate it. like todae, my aftnn was spent slping haha. but cuz of all the lights and stuff. really got that festive feeling, like the time of the yr when u look back at what u have achieved in the past yr and stuff, its a good prelude to the new year. cuz new year hmm its really so called a fresh start. n u may hate or love it. christmas not so much the extreme, its in the middle. n everyone seems happie~ n the lights!!! its wonderfully nice and sweet feeling walking down orchard road. esp at night. everyone's taking pics and all that. saw stuff abt orchard road there todae on the news. nvr go there todae. only previously went b4 the lights are already there. n all the christmas songs that they keep playing. my fav christmas songs are Last Christmas and All I Want For Christmas is You~ woo ahha duno why too though the former isnt exactly a very happie happie song but yea still like it. i like those songs where normally can hear those kinda reindeer de bells de sounds. like the latter. very festive!
n like its a global thing. besides new yr. cuz chinese new yr im assuming only the chinese in american and european countries celebrate rite. n its not like very festive either. since spore bans firecrackers and stuff. even if got, oso might not have a global feel. like u can see the lightings and stuff of different parts of the world on news. haiz. i rmb got some advert that went like "cuz we're all citizens of the world" forgot promote wad. but very true. if we cld all learn to be nice to each other then there wun be wars or wadeva crap n everyone wld be happier~ n the world wldnt end in 2012
ohya another sidenote, saw survivor the last episode the other day. stoopid la the woman who is totally useless won the million bucks. n u noe survivor is like when the final 3 are left standing, they will let them go home, dress up n aft a few weeks/months (?) then come back for the results and reunion. the frigging woman grew so fat i cldnt recognise her. not that she's overweight or wad. but in survivor she was emaciated the last time i saw her. dun normally follow survivor only watch rdm episodes. at the reunion show then they show the previous clips then i realise she used to be ok at first too but aft like a month on that island, she became real skinny. n cuz she got that kinda genes like yoobin of WG. the face looks fat though her body isnt. so seriously she just got alot more qian bian when she won and she was smiling thruout. cuz the other guy called russell totally deserved the win. even the host was saying can. ahaha liddat abit poor thing that other guy out of the 3 totally ignored. cuz the final vote that decides who gets the $1000000 cheque was in the hands of the jury made up of previously eliminated ppl, they all sorta hated russell i guess cuz he caused them to get voted off or sth? duno din watch fully. but yea then next choice was that girl. who all along was on russells side but just let him do the dirty work thats why no one hated her. "hide behind his wings" thats wad they said. totally waliew leh. then russell so poor thing was like visibly upset as the host said, n tearing up. before the jury had made the decision, they had a chance to question the remaining 3 n one of them had asked russell if wad he was like in this show was wad he was like in real life n he said stuff like he's not n he din wan his children to think that of him either. hoping they din. if not, his life is totally screwed man. cuz of the show, ppl will hate him. even his kids, n he doesnt even have a pile of money to cry on. but hor, hmm mebe ppl like him aft all, like mi :) cuz the audience was also cheering for him at parts of the reunion when they talked abt stuff. cuz ppl really do see that he is the worthy winner of survivor. he really did survive the show. even someone like mi who barely watched survivor can tell that he's got the goods. except that mebe his ego is big at times n stuff. otherwise, he did all the right moves, if u do not consider the social impacts like being hated by others in the game la. in a real world, he's a real survivor. its a world of backstabbing and stuff wad. but haiz. ppl, just cuz u hate him for not letting u have a chance at a million dollars, dun deprive him of wad he deserves. thats wad make mi hate the woman even more. like she din do anything, she just won cuz the jury din wan russell to win. ok enuff talking totally ruins my mood.

unbelievable past week

seriously, its un-bah-lee-vah-ber. it doesnt even feel like one week since i last blogged. like damn long le. as though its more than 2 weeks since exams were over. cuz of work? maybe. i think w/o work mebe ill feel that its even longer le. gotta ask a certain jkwl le ahha u most free now rite gurl? paiseh la cldnt watch ninja assassin with u yet. more on that ltr.

ok relatives went back on mon. sat and sun was hectic sia, my off days (which just basically means that i had no OT for that week XD) n pei them run ard singapore. legs suan le~ n they weird la. come to singapore shop at bossini =.= home cty has bossini but acc to them, design is different. anw, quite happie, until ard the end, not exactly pissed or wad. but just got restless le. cuz i seriously just waiting ard de feeling agn. not exactly bringing them ard or wad. just wait for them to shop. plus i PMS-ing i guess.

ok i just came to the conclusion that it was due to sat and sun that made my week feel soooooooo lllllllllllllllooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg. for this week, i haven been to work at all. sunday came back home aft pei them shopping at IMM then eat jap food stall downstairs and then gdnite lor. had to slp on the sofa outside (minus the cushions, which means not comfy at all) instead this time round cuz they were packing stuff and i was tired, mon still need to work so slp first. ard 1am slp. then ard 4am i keep tossing and turning, cannot fall aslp. feel damn sick. then i dun even rmb how le. but i ended up vomiting into the sink. oso vomited into toilet bowl. cuz my vomit was largely undigested food, not watery enuff to ownself go into the sink, so i had to slowly use plastic bags to clear up my own mess, n all the while, my head wasnt clear. aft that i bathed just cuz i tot i had my hair in my mouth while vomiting and i had to be the clean freak at these weird times, dun think that use water to wipe abit of my hair got use so decided to shower. then 5am le went back to slp. duno when le but i rmb i got wake my mum up to tell her that i not feeling well and stuff then aft tt got exchange place to slp with my dad (he was slping on some reclining chair) aft that ard time to go to work 7am liddat i woke up then vomited agn. this time feel much betta. so tot shld go work. cuz the paper that we were doing stuff on was with mi cuz the other girl went off for holiday le. tot since i have to pass the paper to them even if i carn go to work, might as well go to work since i feeling betta. end up travel there le. reach the busstop, vomit agn. perm staff walk pass got see. then immed frm there, cross the road to take bus go back home. dad was already waiting for mi at clinic, with the queue tix. waited DAMN long can. wanted to slp but the chair not comfy enuff too. its those plastic chairs. single one. so very hard to lie on two and slp. saw doc, got a painful jab (i have a high threshold for jabs but this one like go thru ur bone can. arghs), then b4 leaving the doc, vomited (dun worrie, into plastic bag). went home slp like pig. din see relatives leave my hse. n mon just went by liddat. totally no recollection wadsoeva. good thing dad already took leave to see relatives off, so he can take care of mi.

tues feeling slightly better. woke up at 12nn liddat. then aft eating abit of food went on9, started seeing my stars thing. haiz. the only thing i cld think of that i needed to settle which i cldnt cuz of work and shagged-ness. n besides that, started settling CCA stuff. stoopid man. why is it that i can only get stuff done when im sick =.= mebe computer therapy works haha got feel that much better. din slp so much le. ohya i totally din eat much u noe. seriously. wth. then of cuz still damn weak. no energy to move. so decided todae (wed) also dunwan to go. at first while falling aslp on tues, was thinking todae will wake up early then search the ninja assassin timings, but work up late and end up now my mum is sick while i have recovered 90% n same symptoms. just worse. calamity aft calamity. crap. so now thurs which is todae cuz over 12mn le, wun be going to work. yippee? =.=

actually over for quite a few days le. right aft exams went off to work. n i realise that aft exam din even blog until now. mummy oso. damn weird. we like to do procrastinating stuff when its the exams. like sorta stress relief or sth i guess.

about exams, as alwaes, not confident, not happie abt some super damn obvs mistakes i made T^T but definitely WISH FOR ALL THE BEST, like 99% of the students out there. the 1% belongs to those with personal reasons like to get back at their parents or sth? O.o duno. or mebe they r too sick of seeing As n they wan a collection of all the grades. =.= the latter is just sick. feel the saddest abt computing. why do i only realise aft the exam all the time T.T n i heard quite a few ppl say that its ok, when i found it challenging. *cries into pillow* T^T i dunwan to let my tcher down (like he cares. n like he noes who i m -.-)

ok joking haha i dun cry for exams so long aft they've occurred. ive only cried RIGHT AFTER them ahahaha. think in total i cried twice b4? once was in pri sch. the first entrance(?) exam to the GEP thingy. cuz i din finish my paper, got so devastated, although i noes its not my sch results n i oso not desperate to get into GEP. it was my very first time that i cldnt finish a paper i think. then second time was aft practical in JC. stoopid la that one. cuz i cldnt finish n just scribbled and the WORST: i din realise that it was the REAL thing. wad do u call it agn? erm SPA rite...yea stoopid. only realised aft the whole thing can. then buay tahan i tot i lost how many marks started crying, then nic broke it down for mi n told mi i at most oso lost like 2.5% or sth. then i immed stop and started to like "WTH chey so little. waste my tears."

but anw, i like all my tchers this sem leh. they're nice ppl. even the econs tcher. despite her lack of ability in teaching. at least she's willing to explain, as much as sometimes i still dun get it. but still must give credit to her for attempting to do so. n i love computing the most!! not the tcher, but the subject. duno why...tot ill like physics. but at some parts, made mi so confused that i started to get sick of it. CANNOT! WAKE UP! these 4yrs are all physics related. i cannot just start hating it.

work. haiz. now working for like hmm 5 days straight le. although still betta than my fren who has done 7days straight...but sian la. not that its like totally free period or wad now. still a plentiful amt of ppl to attend to. work of cuz is nvr ending de. as long as u look for it, theres alwaes sth to be done. just that some ppl choose to ignore it =.= n todae cham sia. went back to work when im not getting paid double for it unlike the others. stoopid mi. but no choice. they said they really need ppl, make mi kelian them, WHEN ACTUALLY THERE ISNT SO MANY PPL arghz. at first say sunday dunwan work, then sat work. becum "half" day for both. "half" cuz its like work for ard 6/7 hrs. just 1 hr short of normal work hrs. n thing is, when there are lesser ppl, ill start finding the part 2 that we need to attach with the part 1 that we've just completed. n i dun get a break. the rest sometimes oso do that, but most of the time, while waiting for the crowd to come, they'll just sit ard la. thats why i hate myself. im really workaholic le. certified. i like to find stuff to do. cuz i get satisfaction frm seeing the pile of stuff decrease and all that. n i shld stop. cuz anw it doesnt do mi any good either. i get tired. n i have lesser to do, so next time no nid OT le no extra money. haha yeaps so ill start controlling myself now. to do things slower and rest when theres no queue, just like the others. im not doing anything wrong anyway. =D

thats my countdown meter to my next paper. haiz but damn sian. since the weather suddenly started to be less windy n much hotter, i start to fall aslp agn. actually, i see a trend. the day aft i go outta my hse, the next few days ill be slping =.= as in, like most of the day is spent on slping. waliew todae woke at 1030 sleepily take a shower to freshen up then ate my breakfast then tried to read computing. 1230 boom knockout. woke at 230. WTH IS WRONG WITH ME?! n i still feel like slping. then my last resort wld have to be to on the com. n that leads to mi not just listenin to music but procrastinating. so that its no diff frm slping. except mebe slping is actually betta since i do get some beauty slp~

and talking abt beauty sleep, YAY haha my skin condition is improving!! not that it was THAT bad b4 or wad. but while working during hols, must be too stressed by ppl at work or wad got alot of pimples liddat n once they start, they dun normally get well, cuz i scratch them. i noe. i shldnt. now i think shld be cuz of slp, since the "break" for exams started, the redness start to clear. but duno why still got the pokpoks like my pores seriously duno when got enlarged and they dun seem to be getting smaller T^T HOW?!

random rant abt 96.3fm

waliew stop cutting off my songs can!! previously i had two fav songs cut at the middle parts T^T "Tell it to my heart" and "Time to Love" ARGHS n todae was SNSD's "Etude" but heng it was only near the intro n cuz got the gradual softening of the music, their voices haven even really started anw.
tonite is soshi nite!!! they played older songs like INTW, Honey n then they got to the newer Etude and got cut off.
tonite totally proved my theory that 96.3fm only plays pop songs aft 9.30 liddat WRONG ahha. cuz they kept playing the famous idol grp songs tonite woots. haha n hor ive heard 4minute's "Hot Issue" for duno how many times that its sorta getting on my nerves. not tat it wasnt already =.= cuz of Hyunah's totally high-pitched rapping here. she sounds much better when at a lower pitch =)
got my korean notes today! frm senior. im sorta freaking out cuz obvs, i duno alot of words yet n when i see the notes. just stunned cuz all in korean. then realise at the back got abit english. i think mebe its like my senior din take down any notes in english or wad. i even saw jap scribblings at one page can O.O mebe she used jap to translate her korean. WTH hahaha i shld write burmese. just that i duno how to =.= im a failure man. gonna try multitasking learning two lang this hol! duno if can handle it given my lack of time due to work and my relatives coming over agn. but tis time they staying for a week only, n i suspect its gonna be my busy week at work. duno whether can bring them ard leh~

Orchard Central trip no. 2

look at the cool ceiling~ somewhere near the Ramp i tink. lvl i forgot wad =.= why did they come up with weird names anw. mebe they waiting for OC to get hot, then ppl will use those as tags for the lvl nos.

Anw, went to the korean bbq restaurant called Nolboo Hangari Galbi to eat, like i mentioned prev. we asked the waiter/manager what he recommends cuz the menu erm..it was all raw meat. =.= how do i tell if its nice. im not a wild animal =.= he NICELY recommended one that was like $69 besides that one that he recommended, we ordered one plate of plain seafood fried rice. n the service charge and GST end up make us chalk up a $100+ bill. the thing he recommended was some mixed platter, which as he says since its our first time and stuff, shld try abit of everything (actually i think he meant, since its ur first time, mebe we shld milk ur wallets dry first then next time whether u come back or not is no prob :) sweet guy =.=) it contained beef, chicken, prawns, sausages(i have no idea how much this contributed to the price tag >.< ), pork ribs(which my parents complained were basically RIBS n no meat at all), pork belly strips(that was just the OIL) and corn(i have no idea how much this contributed to the $$ either). n came with it the salads and stuff (these were compliementary for all bbqed meals i think). they shld give us instructions i suspect that its like supposed to wrap the meat in the plain washed lettuce provided to eat like how i saw the lil cartoons eating duno wad in my koreasparkling widget on my desktop, cuz like near the end, my dad started to eat liddat ahha duno where he got that idea. then i tot EHHH ok mebe seriosuly to eat liddat. but the meat running out le. T^T ok went to look at the pics i cldnt upload. the mixed platter is called "Assorted Meat and Seafood Sampler" $69 for 900g confirm. heng ah i realise. he din ask us to order the one below it in the menu. "Assorted Fresh Beef Sampler" $79 for 470g only phew~

Cutlery set. look at that green plate. look like for eating nasi lemak rite...

all the appetisers, salads...they have like diff types of kimchi (?) not sure if all are kimchi. but they tasted differently. some more sweet, some more sour. spicy wise, dun use mi as a meter. ohya n i liked that sauce beside the cup. sweet sweet de nice for dipping with the bbqed meat.

ok of all the sucky stuff, one stood out, damn nice. i recommend man. its available as a stand-alone as well, nearer the front of the menu, so no nid to buy the platter and waste money. i rmb asking the waiter the 200g was like how many servings, he said for like one person only. it was ard $28 that 200g, pork lai de. then he pointed to that EXPENSIVE $69, 900g platter O.o ok so the dish is........*drumroll* i dun exactly rmb the name haha and WAHHHHHH~ my pic of the menu din have its name!! but i think it was beef. n i went to google abit yea got positive reviews wor ahah of the beef too. its marinate is SHIOK sia HEAVENLY de nice~ i dun rmb the taste in my mouth since its been weeks but i rmb it to have a very nice smell (cuz of it being bbqed and all i guess) n it was sweet but not so sweet. n that kinda not raw but erm grassy taste (?) of the beef is covered perfectly. the official website says that they used lik combi of apples and pears and 20 kinds of ingredients and store for 24 hrs. wow. no wonder the price >.<

ohya for those who dun take beef or like mi, dun wan seafood, the waiter said can ask them to reduce some stuff frm ur mixed platter(if ure ordering that, that is) n add more of the stuff u like. but obvs u carn say i wan nth but beef =.= most prob ur 900g will reduce to lik 450g WAHAHAHAHAHA

the dessert. erm red bean was weird. n damn sweet. not a fan. n its mostly ice shavings anw, ice kachang is better. ohya n this hor, is not buy de. its complimentary

ambience wise, not very korean. except for two things:

1) the girl at the front wearing a pseudo-hanbok. it din look very thick.

2) the songs they were playing!!! confirm not frm kcooltime de. cuz no announcement "u're listening to non-stop korean pop music, only on 96.3fm" haha my god i actually rmbed wad that pre-recorded voice alwaes says =.=

anw, the shop keeper or whoeva chose that song list is a 2NE1 fanboy man. heard quite a few songs frm them. was quite thankful there was no "nobody" woots~ after school was oso played twice liddat i tink. got SNSD, brown eyed girls n hmm i dun really rmb le. but got those not really idol grp de songs as well. i tink shld be the real shopkeeper real korean lai de n he chose de songs. he appeared like ard the time we were gonna leave. he looked korean at least. eyes small small de. ohya n my parents counted and said there were 4 burmese guys in the kitchen working + the one girl that was serving us oso burmese lai de. O.o my third lang will come in handy in the near future le. singapore ah seriously, rdy to be overtaken by foreigners =.= anw, serve us = grilling/bbqing the meat in front of us. they have some exhaust pipe to suck up the smell cuz they were using real charcoal and stuff sure smoky if not for tt thing. took pic but carn transfer. got some vacuum thingy i think, i keep hearing the sound.

ohya space wise abit crammed the table. not that its small. but those appetisers u saw up there? placed in front of us since the beginning n like if dun eat fast enuff, once the bbq meat is getting ready, no space to put the meat le. mebe cuz of that plate of seafood fried rice too i guess.

After eating went to walk walk ard in OC. now still not a lot of ppl, so no prob its really like personal shopping space. not like JP when it newly renovated. my god the ppl there >.<

saw a shop called "Urban Write" its some stationery shop. but its stationery is cute and nice and some abit high-end. got take pic of the nicer stuff but some carn transfer. here are those i cld transfer. first, try to guess wad they are.

Orchard Central trip no. 1

Yay! finally with some pics. din realise i have pics frm the first visit to OC.got change abit the second time i went like the first floor there they no longer have those boards. they replaced there somewhere but i dun rmb where i saw them the 2nd time i went >.< ohya went to the Central Thai restaurant on 8th or 7th floor to eat i forgot which floor. the food is ok not very spicy or wad plus mebe we din order the correct spicy ones ahha got salads not worth it one. for one plate of veggies so ex. we ordered 3 noodle stuff, one salad, one tom yum soup. got discount la ok not so bad the bill, not as bad as the korean bbq one, more on that next time. they were having some offer like one for one for some of the noodle dishes and other stuff. the ppl cooking r thai i think. the interior no thai style either. n their waitresses/waiters all oso not dressed thai feel at all. just classic restaurant black and white. n the waitress that they placed at the entrance of their restaurant, waliew her skirt is like so much shorter than other waitresses that i saw la. think they just trying to attract guys to go to the restaurant. while eating then i saw the other side there got ppl cooking bbq so decided go there the next time.
