♥ 3 for $1 ♥

we came across this offer while looking for food trail for LX's return...i think i was the one who saw it first, "3 for $1" was too good a deal...it so happens that the article was a while back but the offer has been renewed due to overwhelming response. it's really $1 for 3 dishes with no hidden GST or service charge although it's offered at the restaurant in hotel ibis along Bencoolen. but of cuz, the dishes are smaller in portion but well its still worth it. we had to wear red or have something red n say the "password" which was "soshiok" haha. pics coming up below...see it to believe it =D

we actl wanted to go for the lunch offer but ended up queueing for the dinner offer. tsktsk singaporeans all so kaisu~ we arrive lik 15mins earlier than the time that they said the lunch offer started but ended up being told that the first duno how many customers has been filled up. lik their orders n stuff have been taken down n that they cld not let us in for the lunch offer anymore. T.T saded, we just walk walk ard bugis somemore n ate under the bugis junction the small shops here n there...then ard duno 1/2/3 pm we went back to ask wad time does the dinner offer start when we rmbed that there was a dinner offer too...then the person told us that it actually starts ard 6 i think, but got ppl queueing up since 4pm liddat. so we were lik...erm ok, then we walk abit more first. so we went to national library, looked up travel books n borrowed some then went back to wait n slowly read the books. apparently when we got there, the person at the reception has changed n so that current person say the queue starts at 6pm WTH. but end up wait till almost 5pm liddat got a whole bunch of ppl who din really look singaporean came n another person started taking their orders!! STUNNED we quickly go n queue n just nice we were the last few to get that offer =D so accomplished de feeling *SMUG*

satay. ok la 3 sticks abit...but just nice for the 3 of us. n if u calc its lik ard 11cents for each stick =D

just the roti prata curry. we agreed that this is the best dish =D

ok too bad the offer i think is over le...aww~ but yea haha the dishes quite nice. so if any1 doesnt mind abit pricey de...or have those HSBC card to get discount. can give it a try wor! its behind the guanyin temple in bugis...for this offer, there were lik alot of dishes for us to pick from...so if we went with more ppl, we cld have tried more dishes just that everyone will get half a bite only. 3 ppl just nice. w/o the offer im not sure if all the dishes are offered. most prob yes ba..with other additional stuff.
